4th Göttingen / Leipzig / Chicago Graduate Conference
We warmly invite graduate students from the University of Chicago to submit a paper on any theme, topic or figure in philosophy, for the 4th Göttingen / Leipzig / Chicago Graduate Workshop. The conference takes place on 16-18 June 2022, and will be hosted by the University of Göttingen.
Only graduate students from the three participating philosophy departments will present papers at this conference. Faculty members from all three departments will participate as moderators and discussants. The papers will be pre-circulated so as to allow for maximally in-depth discussion.
The conference is an excellent opportunity for expanding your philosophical network, receiving constructive feedback on your work, and getting to know some of the students and faculty at the philosophy departments with whom we most cooperate in Germany. Graduate students at all stages of their graduate career, including those who have recently defended their dissertation, are encouraged to submit papers.
Please submit your paper to Mathis Koschel (koschel [at] uchicago [dot] edu) by midnight May 1st, 2022. In the subject field, please include the words ‘Göttingen Graduate Conference’. Submissions will be evaluated by a committee of faculty members of the participating departments. If you have any questions about this, please contact Prof. Conant or Haase.
The Chicago Center for German Philosophy will cover the travel and accommodation costs for students participating in the conference.
