THE SOCIETY FOR GERMAN IDEALISM

The Society for German Idealism will meet at the APA Central Division in Chicago, February 26-29, 2020. https://sites.google.com/a/lclark.edu/idealism/ has information about the society. The topic for the meeting will be Hegel on History and Economics. Papers addressing each topic individually (i.e., history or economics) will be considered, as will papers addressing other German Idealist authors on these topics.

The Society for German Idealism especially welcomes submissions from women and members
of underrepresented minority groups.

Abstracts must not exceed a length of 300 words. Include the following nine items:
(1) word count — 300 words maximum!
(2) author’s name
(3) academic status (professor, unaffiliated, graduate student)
(4) highest earned degree (BA, MA, PhD)
(5) institutional affiliation (if any)
(6) mailing address
(7) email address
(8) telephone number
(9) the paper’s title

Include this information in the body of your email and on a cover page of your abstract. No more than one submission by the same author will be considered. Email a copy of your abstract, as an attachment, in Microsoft Word, Rich Text Format, or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) to cyeomans@purdue.edu. Please label your attachment as follows: YourLastName_YourFirstName — for example, Hegel_Georg.doc
Abstracts must be received by September 27, 2019. Abstracts will be blind reviewed, and each paper will have a commentator. Notification of acceptance will be made via email in late October. Submissions whose authors cannot be contacted through email will be rejected.
