Robert B. Pippin is the Evelyn Stefansson Nef Distinguished Service Professor of Social Thought, Philosophy, and in the College at the University of Chicago. David E. Wellbery is the LeRoy T. and Margaret Deffenbaugh Carlson University Professor at the University of Chicago and holds appointments in the Department of Germanic Studies and the Committee on Social Thought.
